Dr. Lee Burton
Medically Qualified and Classically Trained Homeopathic Doctor
About Me
‘I believe that an integrated approach, combining the best of conventional and complementary healthcare is an effective, and cost effective choice for many patients in modern medical practice’
I qualified at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London in 1982,with specialist training in children’s and family medicine.
As a rural GP I was always drawn to natural approaches, using homeopathy and acupuncture in my everyday practice. In 1998 I started training in classical Homeopathic medicine in Bristol, then Bologna, Italy. A fascinating new world of medicine opened and my children grew up with homeopathy.
Since 2008 I have been appointed to posts as a Specialist Homeopathic Physician in NHS University Hospitals, alongside my own independent Natural Health Practice:
*Bristol Homeopathic Hospital (General/Paediatric medicine, specialist cancer services)
*St Margaret’s Hospice, Somerset (Integrated Palliative Care Physician)
*Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine (Specialist Cancer Clinics and General Medicine)
*LOC, Leaders in Oncology Care, Harley Street (Specialist in Integrated Medicine)
My approach to medical care is ‘individualised to the patient’, and I have an active interest in research and ethics, and in helping patients develop their own ‘self-help’ strategies for healthier living.
